Each employee gets bereavement leave for a minimum of three days per bereavement in the following circumstances: The employee’s immediate family member dies (e.g. parent, child, partner or spouse, grandparent, grandchild, brother, sister, parent-in-law) The employee has a miscarriage or stillbirth. WebThe Bereavement Ministry (in addition to diocesan Grief Ministry), reaches out with a phone call to a family member whose loved one had a funeral or memorial service at Christ the King or Queen of Heaven in recent weeks. We give the family member the opportunity to talk about their loved one, and if desired, receive another phone call from us.
